How we make it

Every number can be checked

You shouldn't have to trust a person. You should be able to trust the method.

SourceVerified revenue

Revenue is read directly from Stripe, RevenueCat, Polar and other payment providers via TrustMRR. Founders cannot edit it.

PrivacyAt least 10 startups per number

Smaller groups are left out, so no single company can be identified in the report.

Cross-check8 outside sources

Subscription benchmarks, acquisition marketplaces, launch statistics and founder communities, all linked in every issue.

HonestyLimits stated up front

We use medians, mark thin data as directional, and say where correlation is not cause.

We list our own revenue on TrustMRR too, so you can see how this report is doing.

FAQ

Questions

Where does the data come from?

The main source is TrustMRR, where revenue is read directly from payment providers like Stripe, RevenueCat and Polar. Founders cannot edit it. We add public benchmark reports, acquisition marketplace data, launch statistics and what founders discuss in their communities.

Do you write about specific companies?

No. Every number in the report covers at least 10 startups, so no single company can be identified. You get patterns, not profiles.

Who is it for?

Indie founders and small teams deciding what to build next, or how to price and market what they already have. Agencies and accelerators use the Team plan to advise their clients.

Can I read before I pay?

Yes. Every issue has a free preview with the one-page summary and the month's three signals. You can also buy a single issue before committing to a subscription.

How do I cancel?

One click from your account page. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you can get a full refund within 14 days.

Is this investment advice?

No. It describes what has worked for other startups. Your market, product and execution decide what works for you.
